Jon Kabat Zinn established the Mindfulness movement from his own experience of meditation and his clinical profession in the hospital setting. There are a multitude of videos on U Tube.
I especially like this interview filmed in Germany. More than any other he really speaks from the heart about Mindfulness and how it can impact people.
